You are welcome to bring your cat’s favourite bed or sleeping basket to remind him of home. If you prefer, we supply warm, comfortable bedding as standard.

Baskets

Only a few seasoned travellers take kindly to travelling by car. We strongly advise that you transport your cat in a suitably secure basket or container when carrying it outside in a strange environment.

Feeding

Individual likes and dislikes can be catered for. We provide only the best quality branded foods and prepare it hygienically in the cats’ own purpose-built kitchen. Special diets can be provided, usually at no extra cost. Regular mealtimes are strictly adhered to. Adult cats are fed twice daily, kittens and seniors according to their special requirements.

Health

No cat suffering from, or suspected to be suffering from any infectious or contagious disease can be accepted. All cats will be examined on arrival and the owners reserve the right to refuse admission to any animal showing signs of ill-health, pending advice from a veterinary surgeon. Responsible owners will appreciate that this policy is essential to safeguard the health of all our boarders.

Insurance

We are delighted to offer veterinary insurance within boarding fees, however any pre-existing condition requiring further treatment is unfortunately not covered by our insurance.

Requirements

Male cats over the age of nine months, that have not been neutered, cannot be accepted, mainly because they represent an infection hazard.

All cats must be immunised against Feline Infectious Enteritis and upper respiratory infections (cat ‘flu). Owners must produce an up-to-date inoculation certificate on arrival.

Should any flea and worming treatments be necessary during your cat’s stay, costs will be charged accordingly - treatment is readily available from your vet and we firmly believe that “prevention is better than cure”!

Visitors are politely requested not to touch any cat other than their own.

Terms

A full day’s board is charged for the days of arrival and departure to allow for essential disinfection and preparation of chalets. Payment of boarding fees will be made at the time of collection or, in the case of long-term boarding, accounts will be paid monthly.

In the event of owners returning before the period for which the cat is booked, the full period is charged. Prices include veterinary insurance cover.

At Christmas, New Year and Easter, the minimum fee will be equivalent to five days boarding.

Bookings

Definite bookings should be made as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
